The devices of series NGS2 have been developed for the supplying of strain gauge full bridges in 4-wire technique. Its application is the extension of an 4-wire strain gauge amplifier into a 6-wire technique to improve its accuracy. The output voltage is in two steps, via Di-switch, selectable and, if required, can be adjusted via a 20-turn spindle potentiometer. The maximum output current is 100mA. Therefore bridges with a resistance >120Ohm can be used. Because of the used 4-wire technique, the arising voltage drop of the connecting line is controlled. Now the bridge voltage is independent of line length and temperature. The units are mounted in a 22,5mm housing and are mountable on norm rail TS35.
